A few weeks ago, Ox&Pen ended up being one of the main attractions at West Fest as festival attendees stopped by to spin the Wheel of Loyalty. Whether it was the lure of winning gift cards from a few of Chicago’s most highly regarded local merchants, or just the chance to spin a prize wheel, there was always a crowd around the Ox&Pen booth.

West Fest was our first experience as a festival sponsor, and because it was such a big success and so fun, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to do it again. Wicker Park is an incredible neighborhood and we look forward to the chance to support it and its local merchants.

At Wicker Park Fest this weekend, those who download the Ox&Pen app for iPhone® or Android™and use it to check in at the booth are invited to spin the Wheel of Loyalty. Spinners win one of many prizes, including: gift cards, tank tops, t-shirts, water bottles, sunglasses and Ox&Pen universal loyalty points. And yes, every spin wins!

Wicker Park Fest is on Milwaukee Ave., from North to Paulina, from noon – 10:00 p.m. on Sat., July 28 and Sun., July 29. A $5 donation upon entrance is suggested. Proceeds benefit the Wicker Park Bucktown Chamber of Commerce.

There is much to be excited about at Ox&Pen. Slowly, but surely, the many pieces of our puzzle are coming together.

From reading this blog or following us on Facebook and Twitter, you probably deduced that Ox&Pen is a mobile-driven network stocked with (exclusive) promotions that also presents members with opportunities to earn universal loyalty points. Other than that, you might be wondering what the site will look like, how it will work, and, most importantly, where you’ll be able to redeem promotions and earn loyalty points.

Your patience up to this point is sincerely appreciated. While we can’t show you the site quite yet, we can tell you that things are heating up around here.

Even prior to seeing a fully functional site, some celebrated Chicago merchants are excited about the model driving Ox&Pen.
